Aldi Grocery List

Updated: Oct 21, 2022

Look in on Sydney's grocery list from this week! This week, Aldi is the featured grocery store, due to the large variety pure food items and the company following European food standards, making them a very unique and reliable grocery store. Europe is much more proactive in regulation of food and beverage items compared to the United States, which is a much more reactive approach to regulation¹.

Only additives proven to be non-harmful are approved for use in Europe, while in the U.S. food additives are innocent until proven guilty¹.

Make sure to read food labels, keep sugar to a minimum (aim to stay between 5-7 grams per meal) and remember that the fewer the ingredients, the better! The word "pure" used at ORGANIQUE means an item without metals, chemicals and immune challenges, but may or may not include food sensitivities and additives, such as soy and other preservatives! Pay attention for these ingredients on your food labels! Be on the look out for these sneaky ingredients with side effects - more on this will be coming in the future!
