Healing is a process that requires a lot of patience and self compassion & I’ve learned that we can’t truly heal if we use toxic positivity to “just move on & get over it”. That’s a bandaid, not real healing.
There’s no correct way to heal and no measurable timeline. Everyone’s healing journey is completely unique, which is a beautiful thing!
Reminder #1: You get to set the pace, no one else.
Reminder #2: Striving to be perfectly healed is not a healthy goal; you'll never be perfectly healed.
Reminder #3: You get to define what growth & healing looks like to you.
Reminder #4: You have to feel it to heal it.
Reminder #5: What triggers you reveals what parts of you need loving and healing.
Reminder #6: Healing is not all about becoming the best version of you, it's about learning to love and accept the worst version of you.
