It is important to remind yourself that you are NOT abnormal. It is VERY normal to be highly sensitive. It is empowering when you ask for what you need, set clear boundaries and NOT over explain yourself or justify your decisions!

Your ability to feel other people's pain does not make you responsible to fix it!

Being in this "fixing" mode actually takes away from your own personal growth and healing. Listening, instead of fixing, is just as powerful and respectful to your boundaries.

Giving yourself the space & permission to cry when you feel pent up is actually helpful to you and your nervous system.

Choosing to spend more time alone than others doesn't make you less fun or different!

Needing more time to re-charge in solitude doesn't take your personality away. Alone time is necessary for your well being. If others do not respect that, they are not your people.
