Greta's Chocolate Covered Almond Butter Pretzel Bites

A staff favorite!

Servings: About 10.5 servings (4 pretzel bites) or 1 bag of pretzels

Ingredients:

● 1 bag of gluten-free pretzels (Simply Nature grain-free cassava pretzels)

● 1 1⁄2 bags of chocolate chips of choice (Choc Zero’s milk, white or dark chocolate chips)

● Almond butter or nut butter of choice (Simply Nature, Kirkland, Sunbutter)

Instructions:

● Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.

● In a small frying pan, melt 3/4 cup of chocolate chips on low heat, stir continuously to keep from burning.

● Turn off burner.

● Toss a few pretzels in the pan, use a tong to flip and coat them.

● Use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides of pan to help coat pretzels.

● Place coated pretzels on the cookie sheet.

● Once chocolate is used up in the pan, add another 3⁄4 cup of chocolate chips.

● Repeat the same process until all of chocolate chips are used up.

● Place the cookie sheets in the freezer.

● Allow chocolate to harden for at least a half hour.

● Have almond butter ready to go with a spoon.

● Take pretzels out of freezer and flip them over.

● Spoon a teaspoon of almond butter onto the back of a pretzel and place another pretzel back to back with that one.

● Repeat until all pretzels are used.

● Place pretzels back in freezer for at least an hour.

● Take pretzels out and serve!

Notes:

● If using dark chocolate, use a half tablespoon of coconut oil to help thin it out.

● Can add chopped nuts to pretzels when dipping.

● Store pretzels in fridge.
